This stunning poppy dress was created by Year 7 and Year 8 students in the Fashion design Enrichment class.
The brief was to create a variety of poppies from a range of materials, including paper, card, and fabric to be displayed as a dress to commemorate Remembrance Day on November 11th.  Students created a variety of 3D and 2D poppies, which were then applied to create a corset style bodice and larger pieces of fabrics were draped to create the skirt.  The three students who displayed the poppies onto the mannequin and created the skirt were Y7’s; Ewelina Gubala, Amelia Renyard and Delilah Jarman.
The poppies were created collectively by the whole Enrichment class.
