Nine students from Year 9 took part in a project called Sand, Sea & Quay. Taking place over two days, the workshop was run by Sarah Butterworth for the Weymouth Museum.  The students studied the history of travel and tourism in Weymouth and after viewing/handling museum exhibits of costume through the ages, designed their own costumes fit for a particular era.  They then painted their designs onto Russian dolls for an exhibition held at Weymouth Museum.  The students were later invited to view their pieces on display in the museum and Dorset Echo were in attendance to speak to the students about the project.
