Space Youth Project delivered an LGBT+ workshop

Mel Lane from Space Youth Project delivered an LGBT+ workshop to our Year 8 pupils including a historical and contextual timeline of dates surrounding this. One student said, 'the session was extremely informative and engaged us - I am part of the Diversity Council here at Wey Valley and the support around staff and student champions is critical'. Diversity Council Lead ,Mark Damon Chutter , said 'my thanks to Mel Lane and to Space Youth Project for facilitating this session to our inclusive community here at Wey Valley Academy - we look forward to developing this partnership further'.
