Academy House System

At The Wey Valley Academy, our House System lies at the heart of school life, bringing students together, building teamwork, and celebrating achievement in all its forms.

Every student and member of staff belongs to one of our four proud houses: Eagle, Falcon, Osprey, and Kestrel. Each house carries its own identity, strengths, and traditions, creating a vibrant sense of belonging across the academy.

Throughout the year, students have countless opportunities to earn points for their house. Weekly quizzes ignite friendly competition and encourage everyone to stay curious, engaged, and informed. In addition, end of term competitions bring the whole academy together for exciting challenges, from sports to problem-solving events, where teamwork, skill, and school spirit shine.

House points are awarded for a wide range of achievements, including academic excellence, outstanding effort, acts of kindness, participation in events, and positive contributions to the school community. Every point earned helps propel each house closer to the ultimate goal: being crowned the House Champions.
