Today is a national commemoration in the United Kingdom dedicated to the remembrance of those who suffered in the Holocaust, under persecution. Wey Valley Academy is marking this day of reflection by attending a memorial at the Corn Exchange in Dorchester with other educational establishments. In 2025, Lorna Brunstein delivered a workshop with our Art pupils called 'Memory, Loss and the Holocaust'. The work created by our Year 7 pupils will be displayed in Dorchester today at the event:
